Sandy's Harley Davidson Race Team

Here at Sandy's we are passionate about performance and speed! We love to take our own bikes to the drag strip and have some fun. In 2017, Sandy's Harley-Davidson sponsored Northern Michigan Dragway's Bracket II, in which Josh Corley raced the 2006 Harley-Davidson V-Rod "Destroyer." During the 18 race series, Josh finished 19th out of 150 entries. He also had perfect attendence and made it into the 200 Point Club. Trentyn Corley also raced in 2017 with his JR Dragster. He finished the season 12th out of 24 entries.

In September of 2013, we lost our dear friend Larry in a motorcycle accident. Larry was a Vietnam veteran who showed the greatest respect for our flag and our country. He worked at Sandy's for twenty-two years and became part of the Corley family, along with his wife Jan. One of Larry's favorite events at Sandy's was the twice a year flag ceremony. The 2013 fall flag ceremony was dedicated to Larry's life and service to our country. A few weeks after the flag ceremony, Sandy's held a memorial in Larry's honor along with the help from Jay Howard from One Last Ride. Over 500 family and friends followed him as he took his final 65 mile journey through the country side where he normally rode. Larry will be truly missed by his friends and family, but he will remain in our hearts forever and we will never forget the great memories we had with him.
